CREDO SuperPAC Beats Extreme Senate
On November 4th, Democrats lost the Senate. But in the midst of all the bad news, one success was CREDO SuperPAC’s efforts in Michigan, where local volunteers working with CREDO SuperPAC organizers helped defeat Tea Party extremist Terri Lynn Land. The campaign was part of CREDO SuperPAC’s effort to Save the Senate, which opened offices in key states, organizing hundreds of volunteers to make more than 2 million phone calls and knock on over 65,000 doors. The effort was funded with over 45,000 donations from CREDO activists. In Michigan, local volunteers and donors from across the country helped defeat Republican Terri Lynn Land, who opposed raising the minimum wage and equal pay for women, and promised to support the extreme Republican agenda to privatize Social Security and Medicare.
