WINNING TOGETHER We are millions of people taking action for progressive change

Following the Supreme Court’s ruling in McCullen v. Coakley that the 35-foot buffer zone around a Massachusetts women’s health clinic is unconstitutional, CREDO, a progressive group reacted to the news:

“It’s a sad day when the justices of the Supreme Court, who enjoy a huge buffer zone around their own chambers to insulate themselves from protesters, take away this modest protection for staffers and patients who are under attack at women’s health clinics nationwide,” said Becky Bond, CREDO’s Political Director. “Women and doctors are routinely subjected to invasive, mean-spirited, and sometimes violent protesters as they try to access and provide medical care.”
