ICYMI… CREDO put out the following statement as the Supreme Court holds hearings on three cases relating to LGBTQ employer discrimination and Title VII.
“Title VII protects all people from discrimination based on gender — and that includes LGBTQ people,” said CREDO Action campaign manager Jelani Drew-Davi. “Federally sanctioned homophobia and transphobia would have a life-altering impact on the entire LGBTQ community. The Supreme Court must stand firm against this blatant attempt by the Trump administration to legalize employer discrimination that will impact trans people of color, trans migrants, and HIV positive LGBTQ people most of all.”
CREDO Action, part of CREDO Mobile, is a social change network of millions of activists, sending tens of millions of petition signatures and hundreds of thousands of phone calls to decision-makers each year.
